The brief for Context and culture was to produce a magazine cover which demonstrated an understanding of Bauhaus/modernist design.

It had to reflect some sort of Bauhaus style and also have a contemporary look and feel and be appropriate to the intended audience which in this case is architects/draghters. The background drafting image is one I drew up from the floor plans of my house. I lessened the opacity of the image so that it acts as a background image and doesn't take away from the darker writing on top of it. I also chose modern fonts to give it a modern/contemporary look.

I am quite proud of this cover, it looks appealing and modern which appeals to me, so think it would be quite effective towards the target audience.
