In Visual literacy, we were asked to construct a 3D paper sculpture with an emphasis on line. As the final product was going to photographed we had to create a structure that would create interesting shadows. I chose to create a church. I have always seen churches as quite unique looking buildings and all have the same elements, such as the cross shaped building and a steeple. Earlier on I was thinking about designing something a tad more simple although I thought by creating a church I would be challenging myself to creating something more complex. It did take a lot of effort but I am satisfied and proud and the end result.
